Katz's is such a nice place. Most of the time there's a little bit of a wait but it's worth it. The food is really tasty and they have good sandwiches. Chilaquiles are a little white though. Good flavor but not much spice and not much salsa. They should also have a option to choose between red and green salsa. Minor tweaks like this to their food would make the place five star, other than that the food is pretty good. The workers are also really nice. Our waitress was a little too eager, she tried to take my brother's water right out from his hand! Didn't even say excuse me..
I have been eating here for over 30 years and I still love it! The potato pancakes are quite yummy! The only ones better are the ones my mom makes for me. Family friendly establishment, excellent service, and out of this world cheese cake! I will drive over an hour one way just for a sandwich and cheese cake from here. Very quaint decor, love it A must try place in my opinion.
We stopped in for dessert and it was delicious! If you want an old fashioned milkshake topped with whipped cream and a cherry, (we dug in and I ate the cherry before snapping that photo) then this is the real milkshake that you should try! This picture doesn't do it justice so forgive me in advance! Go get that shake!!
Post isoxo meal at Katz in Montrose. This is a diner that is open 24/7. I got the chilaquiles, which included tortilla chips topped with salsa, cream, pico de gallo, queso fresco, and sliced avocado. It also came with two eggs which I got over medium and some potatoes. For a late night meal, this was hitting the spot. It's like nachos but better. The crema and queso provide good flavor with a little acidity from the pico. The potatoes were really good too with a crispy shell. This place was pretty crowded for 2 in the morning
I came here for a brunch with friends and it was so delicious! I love how they stay open really late as well. It's nice to know there is a delicious sit down restaurant open late. I had the bacon breakfast tacos with bacon which were super delicious! The eggs were so creamy and soft! There is also quite a bit of parking which was nice
Love this diner! They have a parking lot next to the building that's reserved for the diner only. Their menu is huge and everything looked appetizing, they had a couple unique dishes too. My friend got the grilled cheese and I got the reuben sandwich lunch combo which comes with a side. I got the cheese stuffed potato, a must get, it tasted like cheesy mashed potatoes. Loved the Reuben sandwich as well! Will be coming back for their HH!

Thumbs Up: You can order anything from the menu at any time of day, except for items restricted by law (like alcoholic beverages). Neutral: The food is mostly good, but nothing really stands out as exceptional. Thumbs Up: While there have been a couple of less-than-ideal experiences, service has consistently been great over the years I've dined here. Thumbs Up: It never closes! I've seen this place remain open during hurricane floods and even throughout the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. A casualty of the pandemic is how common it was that restaurants and stores were open 24/7, it's nice to know there's a reliable spot to grab food after a night of bar hopping.
Katz is open 24 hours and is a great spot anytime and also a good spot to eat if you are out late night; it is safe area. Staff is very friendly. Interior is very clean and very spacious!!! They have an upstairs area and downstairs with so many tables great for big groups. Great location nearby Montrose and surrounding bars are walking distance. What we ordered: - chicken & waffles 9/10 Very good food, I'm a big fan of breakfast for dinner and that is exactly what we did when trying Katz for the first time!
